WHAT TO PACK
Arizona is known for its warm sunny days year round with a blanket of coolness in the desert morning and evenings. For maximum comfort we suggest layers of athletic or yoga wear during your day. Evening dining is resort casual and a light wrap or fleece for the cooler desert evening is suggested.
All equestrian activities require long pants and closed toed shoes. Challenge activities require tennis shoes. Spa services such as Aqua Zen require a swimsuit and other services such as Thai massage require loose comfortable clothing.
We recommend bringing the following items: sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, yoga wear, workout clothing, and swimsuit, running and hiking shoes, camera and journal. Check current weather conditions prior to arrival to pack accordingly.
COMPLIMENTARY AIRPORT SHUTTLE
Miraval provides complimentary airport shuttle service to/from Tucson International Airport. Please call 800.815.3949 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to share your airline carrier, flight number along with arrival and departure times. You must provide your air travel information at least 48 hours prior to arrival in order to utilize the complimentary airport shuttle van. If travel information is not shared 48 hours prior to arrival, you will be responsible for providing your own transportation.
Upon arrival at the Tucson International Airport, proceed to the baggage claim area and a Miraval driver will be waiting at the bottom of the escalator with a sign showing your name. If you do not see a Miraval driver, please call the resort operator at 520.825.4000.
Departure vans leave at the top of the hour. The last complimentary shuttle departs the resort at 2 pm. Travel time to the airport is approximately 50 minutes so you will be scheduled to depart Miraval two hours before your flight time (for example: if your flight departs Tucson International Airport at 3:10pm, you will leave Miraval on the 1pm shuttle). The afternoon prior to your departure, you will receive a detailed voice mail in your guest room with your departure and luggage pickup time.
If the complimentary shuttle does not meet your needs, we can arrange a private transportation for an additional fee
If your package includes resort credits, you may apply them toward any fee-based experience during your Miraval visit. Resort credits can be used for spa services, private sessions, classes, and activities that have fees. These credits cannot be transferred between guests or toward future visits, toward purchases in the restaurant/bar, Raindance Pass Boutique, Spa Retail, online store, or toward tuition fees for Miraval immersions.

Many of our signature activities and spa services have limited spots available, fill up quickly, and require advance sign up prior to your arrival. Check-in time is 3 pm but you may arrive on property as early as 11 am. Lunch is included and opens at 11:30 am. Upon check in, you will be given an orientation and tour of the property.
Check-out time is 11 am and we would be glad to store your luggage at Guest Services should you wish to remain on property until 2 pm. Lunch is included on the day of departure with meal service starting at 11:30 am. Late check-out is based on availability; however, please note that the last complimentary shuttle back to the Tucson International Airport departs at 2 pm from the resort.

Miraval is a non-tipping resort property. We believe a “no tipping” policy is essential to a mindful guest experience. Once you arrive at Miraval, a friendly “thank you” or note on a guest comment card is the best tip you can give and the only one we allow.

DEPOSIT & CANCELLATION POLICY
An advance deposit of 50% of your total stay package is required to guarantee your reservation.
We are extending a flexible cancellation policy and not forfeiting deposits up to 8 days prior to arrival. Cancellations made 7 days or less before arrival will forfeit deposits.
TAXES & RESORT FEES
Package rates are exclusive of a 23% resort charge and applicable taxes of approximately 15%. Your resort charge includes access to over 120 weekly wellbeing offerings, full access to our 3 luxury pools, Body Mindfulness Center, and Wi-Fi. All fee-based classes, workshops, and programing will be taxed at 6%. Retail purchases, a la carte food and beverage purchases and other services scheduled in addition to what is included in your package are subject to applicable taxes.
Staying hydrated will help you acclimate to our beautiful Sonoran Desert environment. We ask that you please take the necessary precautions while enjoying your visit. Be sure to wear sunglasses, use sunblock, exercise moderation in your outdoor activities and drink plenty of liquids. Water stations are located throughout the resort (see the map on the back cover of your Miraval Weekly Guide for cooler locations). Please bring your reusable water bottle to all classes and activities. Replenishing your body’s natural water supply daily will ensure comfort and health.
The desert is home to some of the most beautiful and resilient animals. Among the creatures that call this desert home include tortoises, the Gila monster, rattlesnakes, coyotes, vultures, tarantulas, and many other rare and enthralling species. Because our property rests in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, we recommend that you do not leave any windows or doors open, welcoming any desert wildlife into your room.
SAFETY & SECURITY
Your safety is important to us. Miraval security staff routinely patrol the resort property. Should you have any concerns, please dial the resort operator. All Miraval staff are required to identify themselves by department name prior to entering a guest room. Please activate the deadbolt for maximum security and privacy. If you see or hear any suspicious activity, please report your observations to management. Do not leave valuables in your room. Place valuables in the provided room safe.
