Creating a life in balance begins with being fully present and engaged in the moment. Our digital device-free resorts let guests participate in the Miraval experience free of distraction — and gives them permission to unplug. We ask everyone to use technology only in designated locations to practice being mindful of the moment and respectful of fellow guests. E-Readers are permitted.
We are undergoing resort enhancements to our Cactus Flower Restaurant and outdoor patio seating that faces the Catalinas. Enhancements are expected to continue through the first week of April. At this time we will be offering outside seating on the lower patio alongside the fire-features in conjunction with our Cactus Flower West Restaurant Dining Room with open view of our kitchen. Enhancement impact and noise will vary depending on construction timelines. There will be NO change in the quality of service.
We offer a wide variety of experiences at our resort, from outdoor adventure to yoga and fitness to equine and more! We recommend packing comfortable fitness clothes and closed-toed shoes for when you’re exploring Purple Sage Ranch, or hiking in the Sonoran Desert. We also have stunning pools, so be sure to pack your swimsuit!
We offer a complimentary airport shuttle for both arriving and departing guests. For the complimentary pick-up from Tucson International Airport, please ensure that your full flight itinerary is provided 72 hours prior to your arrival. You will be met by your driver at the airline baggage claim for your flight. They will have a sign that says “Welcome to Miraval”, please wait patiently as we greet multiple flights at a time. The departure shuttles returning to the airport leave Miraval on the hour, as needed, until 2pm. If you have transportation needs that do not align with these times or locations, we can arrange a private car service for you. Please contact our transportation team at 800.815.3949.
Resort credits are applied to fee-based activities and spa treatments. They cannot be applied to retail purchases or alcohol. Resort credits are accrued nightly, and they rollover throughout your stay. However, any unused resort credits at the end of your stay are forfeited. The amount of resort credits you receive depends on the package that you book. Please reach out to an Experience Planner if you have any questions.
Guests are currently required to sign up for all activities, private sessions, and spa services. We highly recommend booking your experiences as far in advance as possible to enjoy the greatest availability. Our dedicated Experience Planners are available to help answer questions and make thoughtful recommendations based on your intentions for your stay.
Cactus Flower Restaurant is open for in-person dining, takeout, and In-Room Dining. Breakfast: 6:30 am – 10 am. Lunch: 11:30 am – 2 pm. Dinner: 5 pm – 9 pm. Palm Court Café is open for smoothies and grab n' go snacks from 6 am - 3 pm, and the Coyote Moon Bar & Lounge is open from 2 pm - 9 pm.
Raindance Pass Boutique is open from 8 am - 6 pm and offers bathing suits, athleisure, books, and jewelry. Painted Sky Boutique located in the Arrival Center is open 9 am - 4 pm. The Life in Balance Spa Boutique specializes in skincare products and is open during spa hours from 9 am - 9 pm.
The Life In Balance Spa is open from 9 am to 9 pm every day. An appointment at the spa is not required for on-property guests who wish to utilize the spa's amenities.
The Body Mindfulness Center (BMC) is open 24 hours and includes weights, Technogym equipment, and Pelotons.
While check-in to the room is at 3 pm, we invite you to come on the property as early as 11 am to take advantage of activities, services, and lunch starting at 11:30 am. We suggest not scheduling your first activity for the first 1 & 1/12 hours to give you time for check-in and lunch before jumping into the first activity or service. The Front Desk can store your luggage if needed before checking into your room. On your day of departure, we ask that you're out of the room by 11 am but can stay on the property until 5 pm if you have your own transportation. If you need our complimentary shared shuttle, the last shuttle departs at 2 pm. The Front Desk can store your luggage if needed before your departure.
You are welcome to arrive to the property as early as 8:30 am. There is complimentary on-site parking. You may store any day bags with the Front Desk or the spa. We ask that your last activity end by 5 pm.
Access to resort facilities and offerings is limited exclusively to registered overnight guests and visiting day guests. Non-registered guests are not permitted to visit Miraval Arizona in order to preserve the privacy, safety, and wellbeing of our colleagues and guests.
All packages include luxurious accommodations, nightly resort credit to use toward spa services & private sessions, all gourmet meals, non-alcoholic beverages, and complimentary airport shared shuttle service. Enjoy unlimited access to daily complimentary wellbeing activities and resort amenities.
An advanced deposit of 50% of your total stay package is required to guarantee your reservation. For cancellations made more than 21 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. For cancellations made 21 days or less prior to your scheduled arrival date, your advanced deposit will be forfeited.
Package rates are exclusive of a 23% resort charge and applicable taxes of approximately 15%. Your resort charge includes access to over 120 weekly wellbeing offerings, full access to our 3 luxury pools, Body Mindfulness Center, and Wi-Fi. All fee-based classes, workshops, and programing will be taxed at 6%. Retail purchases, a la carte food and beverage purchases and other services scheduled in addition to what is included in your package are subject to applicable taxes.
Staying hydrated is important in the Arizona heat! We provide each guest with a Miraval water bottle and there are FloWater stations in all of the main buildings. There is also a water carafe in each guestroom.
The desert is home to some of the most beautiful and resilient animals. Among the creatures that call this desert home include tortoises, the Gila monster, rattlesnakes, coyotes, vultures, tarantulas, and many other rare and enthralling species. Because our property rests in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, we recommend that you do not leave any windows or doors open, welcoming any desert wildlife into your room.
Your safety is important to us. Miraval security staff routinely patrol the resort property. Should you have any concerns, please dial the resort operator. All Miraval staff are required to identify themselves by department name prior to entering a guest room. Please activate the deadbolt for maximum security and privacy. If you see or hear any suspicious activity, please report your observations to management. Do not leave valuables in your room. Place valuables in the provided room safe.
We have three pools on property. The pools do not have closing hours, however we ask that you are mindful of noise volume after nightfall.
Miraval is a non-tipping resort property. We believe a “no tipping” policy is essential to a mindful guest experience. Once you arrive at Miraval, a friendly “thank you” or note on a guest comment card is the best tip you can give and the only one we allow.

Miraval was an amazing, tranquil retreat to focus on your health, fitness, nutrition, and overall well being.
