In his ten-gallon hat and overalls, Richard Starkey makes you smile. The bulk of Miraval’s eggs and produce come from Farmer Starkey, who picks everything at 5am and delivers fresh produce straight to Miraval’s kitchen from his 2.5 acre farm up the road. Farmer Starkey cultivates Miraval’s onproperty garden and provides weekly garden tours where you can learn how to create a robust garden of your own.
