Join top dance pros Todd Wilson, Tracey Katona, and Russell Warfield during this 3-day experience of dance including jazz, Broadway, ballet, latin, hip-hop, lyrical and more. The week of dance builds self-esteem, confidence and forges bonds between participants that last a lifetime.

For some, it’s experiencing a lifelong dream of living the life of a dancer for a week. For others, it’s expressing feelings through movement. And for all, it’s an exhilarating, fun and joyful way to workout.

    Meet your Leaders

    • Todd Wilson

      Todd Wilson is a sixth generation proud Tucson native. Todd graduated from Tucson High and at the age of 15 began dancing with the University of Arizona College of Dance. As a young dancer Todd was awarded scholarships to attend the EDGE Performing Arts Center (Hollywood CA), Broadway Dance Center (NYC), Steps On Broadway (NYC), Peridance (NYC), Gus Giordano Dance Center (Chicago, IL) and the River North Dance Company Summer Apprentice Program (Chicago, IL). As a performer Todd has worked with Rite Aid, Qwest, Dove, Uneliver, Canyon Ranch Health Resorts, Dance Alice (South Korea), Pepsi, EDGE Performing Arts Center, Corporate Light and Magic, Imagine Entertainment and more. Todd’s instruction, direction, and choreography has been requested all over the world and he has had the honor of working with Equinox Gyms, Starwood Hotels, Universal Studios Hollywood, Disney, Princess Cruise Lines, Miss America Pageant, CBS Television, NBC Television, Imagine Entertainment, Canyon Ranch Health Resorts, Just Cavalli, Ed Hardy, D&G/Dolce & Gabbana, Nicole Miller, Louis Vuitton, MAC Cosmetics and many more. At the age of 17 Todd co-created and directed Moda Provocateur – a charity hair and fashion event benefiting the Southern Arizona Aids Foundations. Over the past 11 years Moda has grown into one of the premier hair & fashion charity events in the nation. Todd continues to travel as a creative director and now the owner of BreakOut Studios, an emerging dance & fitness company. Todd is proud to once again call Tucson his home.

    • Tracey Katona

      Tracey Katona is a professional ballerina, choreography and certified Pilates Instructor under Romana Kryzanowska. She received her early dance training at The Princeton Ballet School, The Washington Ballet and Steps On Broadway on full scholarship. Spending the majority of her professional career with the American Repertory Ballet, she danced works by George Balanchine, Septime Weber, Trey McIntyre and Marius Petipa just to name a few. After retiring from the ballet she moved to the West Coast and began teaching at Oregon Ballet Theatre and Nike WHQ. At OBT she trained dancers for over ten years who have gone to have professional careers with New York City Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, Pacific Northwest Ballet, American Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and many more. In 2013, Miss Katona was hired to choreograph Michelle Obama’s launch of the Let’s Move! Active Schools initiative to increase physical education and activity in America’s schools. She and the First Lady performed with athletes Serina Williams, Bo Jackson, Gabby Douglas, Sarah Reinertzen, Colin Kaepernick, Bob Harper, Dominque Dawes and Paul Rodriguez at the national kick-off event in Chicago which was featured on ESPN, ABC, CBS, NBC and more. Along with her colleagues Russell and Todd, she was part of the original teachers tin 2004 to develop Dance Week for the Canyon Ranch Spa and Resort in Tucson AZ. In support of her mentor Mari Winsor, she performed/choreographed the opening for the ALS walk in LA where Miley Cyrus performed with them. She has performed for this event in 2016 and 2017 as well under the direction of Toni Basil. She choreographed for the band RAC’s tour featuring Liz Anjos in 2017. In Portland OR, Miss Katona opened her own Pilates studio, Katona Pilates, in 2016 with clients that include Ifo Ekpre-Olomu, Emily Infeld, Colleen Quigley, Joan Benoit Samuelson, Demet Tuncer and many professional dancers. In addition she continues to teach Pilates and events for Nike WHQ. She created the Core Strength Workout starring figure skater Gracie Gold for their training application, Nike Training Club. Throughout her career she has taught celebrity clients such as Melanie Griffith and Jennifer Lewis to pro athletes like LeBron James, Antonio Brown, Kara Goucher, Dwayne Wade, Chris Paul, Carmelo Anthony, Lindsey Vonn and more. Tracey’s passion and purpose is teaching and supporting people to move with quality, control and grace through dance and the work of Joseph Pilates.

    • Russell Warfield

      Russell Warfield has been apart of Broadway shows, National Tours and Regional Theater credits include Jekyll and Hyde, The Wizard of Oz , CATS, Dancin , The Producers, Chicago and The Dance Theater of Harlem. Studied at Dance Theater of Harlem, Alvin Ailey, Steps and Broadway Dance Center.
